I ran.

I think I need to stop posting about things like “Living the Dream”, because I swear that every time I do such a post, life gets complicated.  And when life gets complicated, my savior is running.

So yesterday, even though conventional wisdom dictated a rest day (after 85 miles and 9 days in a row), I ran.  After a long crazy day of work and life, since the sun was finally out and it was hot (for the first time in FOREVER), I ran.  Without a destination or pace in mind, I ran.

And it was EXACTLY what I needed.

So thankful for running.
