Boston Training Week #1 is in the books.
And, I have to say, I loved it. I felt so happy and free and fabulous – in all 3 days of exercise that I did this week. I don’t know if it’s because I took 5 days off so I desperately needed the endorphin rush. Or because now I’m officially training for the fricking BOSTON MARATHON. Or because I’m finally training to just run a marathon, with no expectations about time or pace, instead of having the pressure of a time goal. Whatever the reason – I feel energized and motivated and so so happy to be able to run. It also helps that it’s now almost 7:00 p.m. and it’s still light out. Love it! And now I can squeeze in more miles and more time on the feet (or soon on the cycle).
So – recap for Boston Marathon Training, week #1:
