Phoenix Marathon Training, week #5 recap

Every plan has a cut back week.  Mine did too.  And cut back I did.  More than coach MG wanted me to.  More than I wanted me to.  But life had other plans for me this week that did not include much running.  Instead of focusing on how little I ran and wondering whether it affected my fitness, etc., I’m just gonna hope the major rest is what I needed and move forward.

Mileage run: 20.8

Cross/pilates/strength: 12 minutes biking.  🙂

Details:

  • M: 6 miles (9:17); bike 12 minutes
  • T: 5.1 miles (9:57)
  • W: rest
  • Th: 5 miles (9:28)
  • F: 4.8 miles (9:27)
  • Sa: rest
  • Su: rest

Big running week this week.  I’m ready for it.
