Marathon Recovery week 2 recap

I LOVE this quote.  Of course I do, since it is about being in control and I love being in control. 🙂 Some things in life are outside our control, but we can shape the direction our life takes.

I feel SO good, in terms of being recovered.  I am officially kicking off Grandma’s half marathon training this week.  It will be a short cycle, since it’s already just 6 weeks away!  After 4 days of crappy eating and drinking in Seattle, I’m also officially ready to go on spin dry. 🙂  Any bets on how long that lasts?

Marathon recovery, week #2 recap:

Miles run: 36.4

Miles biked: 8

Pilates: 2 times


  • M: 6.2 miles (8:38); Bike 8 miles; pilates
  • T: 7.1 miles (8:40); pilates
  • W: 8 miles (8:21); pilates
  • Th: 3 miles (9:40) w/ 4x.30 hills
  • F: 3.1 miles (8:55)
  • S: 9 miles
  • Su: rest
