All About Me Scrabble Mosaic! (And speeeeed!)

Kids and Norah came back last night and we had the best evening, just hanging out.  Life is so much better when they are here!  Carter came in the family room and grabbed the scrabble game and took it up to his room and told me he was working on something.  30 minutes later he called me upstairs, with a huge grin on his face.  The results:

Awesome!  I especially love that he had to make up a tile with the letter “K” on it to incorportate my signature color in.  Oh – and he said he had to use the word “pale” (which I AM!) so that he could get “cool” in (which I also am!)   🙂     So cute!

This morning’s speed workout was on my own and it was the BEST, most challenging, workout I’ve had in a long time.  8 miles total in just over an hour, with the speedy part as follows (and I nailed all the paces):

2 miles easy warmup: 8:40 pace

4×800 at 10k pace (7:19), with 400 recovery in between at 8:30 pace

5 minute recovery jog @ 8:45 pace

10 minutes sustained at 7:40 pace

10 minutes 8:45 pace cool down

Let the work week begin!
