Uggggg. This was not a scheduled post. Unfortunately, it’s live.
It’s 3:00 a.m. and I’m WIDE awake, with a million and one things spinning through my head. I tossed and turned and didn’t fall asleep til midnight, then woke up at 1:30 and have been laying there, restless, ever since. Super frustrating since I need to get up at 6:00 for an all day (yes, on a Saturday!) seminar. I’m reminded of Grandma’s 2009 and my 1 1/2 hours of sleep that I got all night. At least I don’t have to run a marathon later today!
Anyone have any tried and true, clear-your-mind-so-you-can-sleep tips?
focus on breathing in and out. It’s impossible to think about breathing and anything else at the same time. It’s a real mind clearer.
Read something totally unrelated to the things you are worried about until you feel sleepy. Then try again! I feel for you! This happens to me sometimes too. I hope you’re having a decent day anyway.
