I ran!

I know it’s only been 8 days, but today was one of those days.  So even though I was going to wait 10 days post-marathon to run, I ran after work.  3 miles.  10 minute pace.

And I would love to say it felt incredible.  But, truthfully, my body felt creaky and slow and out-of-shape and off.

But I ran.  And that is exactly what I needed to turn what’s left of this day back around in a positive direction.
