I started reading Running The Edge, the new book by Adam Goucher and Tim Catalono. I am LOVING it. I hope to finish it this weekend and will do a full book review here when I’m done. The cover of the book says “Discover the secrets to better running and a better life” LOTS of good stories, ideas and inspiration in it so far. Anyone else reading it?
Got 16.2 mile long run done this morning. Note to self: Do not fuel with Dairy Queen blizzard the day before a long run. I KNOW this. I KNOW that ice cream/dairy the day before a long run will mean GI issues during my long run. But I couldn’t resist a blizzard on the drive up to the cabin yesterday. And I paid for it during my long run today! Remind me not to do that again!
