That rest day was exactly what I needed. I guarantee my tempo run wouldn’t have been so good (feeling and pace-wise) if I had done it before the rest day (which the schedule actually said to do). 8.4 miles done this morning with a 25 minute tempo (3.3 miles 7:34, 7:39, 7:35, 7:27 for last .3) It felt challenging, but still not horrible. I definitely could have kept going.
Anyone racing this weekend?
