I was trying to decide between getting up and running 16 miles before church, or waiting until after church. I hate the idea of waiting until noon to do my long run. But, I hate the idea of running in -23 temps even more. Seriously. I thought it was a joke when I just looked at weather.com and the hourly forcast went from -2 at 2:00 a.m. to -23 at 5:00 a.m. Double checked. Nope. Not a joke. So I’ll wait til after church and do my run when it’s gonna be a balmy 9 degrees!

I don’t understand -2* temps, let alone -23. I saw how beautiful Minnesota is this summer, but I’m not sure it’s enough to make me handle the freezing cold winters!
I don’t know how I can handle it either. Although I think there WAS something funky with the weather report. It’s only -10 right now. I’ll still wait til after church when it’ll be nice and warm out!
