“Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Personally, I think August 9th is the best day of the year. My birthday. We celebrated 41 years of Cindi with my parents, sister and niece, and the kids yesterday. Look at the fun picture they blew up:
Eating cake on my 1st birthday. Maybe I really am a blonde?
Funny that the same things that make me happy when I was one (pink clothing, cake and celebrating with family) also make me happiest now. As I start this 41st year of my life, I am thankful for friends, family and new beginnings. Although I’m at a place in my life I didn’t plan on being, I am confident that it is the right place for me and I am, for the first time in a long long time, truly happy and excited about the future.
Good stuff happening.
